Your first weekend with an LR3
Get to know the truck before you start ordering upgrades.
Build a baseline
Write down the model year, engine, mileage, and service records you have. Photograph receipts and note what is unknown. Keep this in My Garage so the next repair starts with a little more context.
Make an inspection list
Book a baseline inspection with a Land Rover specialist. Ask them to document brakes, tires, leaks, steering, suspension, and fluid condition. Use findings to separate urgent work from maintenance and optional upgrades. A checklist is preparation for an inspection, not a substitute for one.
Choose one project
Start with a documented need. Before buying, confirm compatibility with the supplier using your vehicle details and any existing modifications. Keep the invoice, part number, and installation date.
Find your people
Introduce your truck, share your goal, and ask a specific question. A daily driver, a restoration, and a trail build may need very different advice.
